WVSM Simulator. Study after study proves that authentic training is the key to performance under pressure.

Athena GTX has used our experience working with the Special Forces to develop a completely new kind of wireless vital signs monitoring simulator training tool. The WVSiM trains both individual providers and incident commanders. As a stand-alone device the WVSiM accurately simulates the operation of a real patient monitor. Vitals information will automatically appear on the monitor only after the patient is connected properly. The WVSiM automatically displays patient vitals in pre-programmed scenarios or allows a training officer to adjust vitals wirelessly in real time to adjust for trainee performance, level of competence and scenario variations.

WVSiM devices can be used in conjunction with one another to replicate surge and mass-casualty scenarios. A triage officer in training can see the vitals of up to 20 patients simultaneously. Armed with this information, the trainee can then make decisions regarding triage, care and transport.

The WVSiM is a 100% accurate representation of an actual Wireless Vital Signs Monitor (WVSM®). These WVSM
devices were developed with the Office of Naval Research for Special Operations. WVSMs are being used for Firefighter Rehab, Extrication, Search and Rescue, Infectious Disease Response, Mass Casualty Incidents and regular EMS use. Trainees and providers can seamlessly transition between using the simulated and actual WVSM devices.

WVSiM software compatible with iOS tablets and smartphones.
