\nAthena GTX, Inc. a small business from Johnston, Iowa, recently obtained FDA Clearance, and now introduces the FDA cleared WVSM Pro Series monitors! <\/strong><\/p>\n

Athena has always focused on the Voice of the Customer (VOC) in designing and developing innovative First Responder solutions in elite medical monitoring. The WVSM Pro Series monitors are the next generation devices from Athena that proves once again we listen. The Pro series of remote, highly mobile monitoring platforms significantly extends the capabilities of the existing WVSM. Although WVSM has sold thousands since its first FDA clearance in January 2010, it was time to upgrade the platform and inculcate the highly sought after features our customer base told us they needed most. The device is able to go where other monitors cannot, and now the WVSM Pro continues the game-changing legacy of multi-patient, wirelessly enabled monitoring when coupled with the FDA cleared ADMS connectivity software. <\/p>\n

In situations where time is short, access is restricted, space is limited and multi-casualties may be present, the WVSM Pro solves the most challenging, remote first-responder situations. You will no longer need to choose between ALS monitoring capabilities and a compact, light-weight monitor that fits in your pocket, at either the tactical monitoring level or BLS. We have created a three-in-one capability, all at a fraction of the cost of competitor solutions. Just slightly larger than the legacy WVSM solution, and still just over a one-pound, the amount of interest in the new platform has been overwhelming from customers all over the world. <\/p>\n

We also have multi-device, highly mobile, carry platforms for surge capability \u2013 a Tactical Pack (Tac-pac) and Surge Case (a rechargeable platform carrying up to five devices and tablets).<\/p>\n
