A portable case for use with wireless patient monitoring devices

Isolation and personal protective equipment places special requirements on monitoring BOTH patients and providers. The iDT case is designed to hold patient monitoring devices and other equipment for an entire HAZMAT or infectious disease transport.

The Wireless Vital Signs Monitor (WVSM®) transmits patient data through isolation equipment. This allows clinicians to monitor the patient wirelessly on a hand held device or smart phone from an area outside the isolation zone.

A WVSM system can monitor multiple patients simultaneously. The WVSM is small, light and easily worn by a patient in isolation as well as providers under protective gear. Incident commanders can monitor both patients and providers from a central monitoring device even during transport. A WVSM device is a fraction of the cost of a traditional ALS monitor. This means it can be replaced more easily if it is contaminated.

The iDT provides a multi-patient monitoring system in one portable case for ease of deployment, transport and storage.
