With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we are facing troubled times. Athena GTX wants to update you on our position to maintain business operations and support of you and our products as long as possible. Things are changing daily and Athena GTX has taken precautionary measures inside our buildings, on all shipments into and out of Athena and with our personnel in numerous states. We do this in accordance with guidance from CDC, local Iowa government and public health authorities and we will remain aware and in compliance as a critical or essential medical service provider. We will continue to do our best to ensure the health and well-being of our customers, employees and their families and the patients impacted by this virus.

Athena GTX will remain open for business. We have also instituted new policies to reduce the risk of potential transmission, such as:

  • Over the past few weeks we’ve received a large number of product inquiries from current and potential customers. We will strive to respond and honor all orders as quickly as possible. Pending further restrictions, we are open and operating in full production. All products shipped will be cleaned prior to shipping according to the guidelines we have established in order to protect our consumers.
  • Remote Work: A few of our employees have decided to voluntarily self-isolate and work from home. Our team members continue to be available to connect with you by phone, text and email.
  • Travel Restrictions: We have instituted new business travel restrictions at least until 15 April. The EU today shuttered non-essential travel across borders. Any employee travelling for personal reasons outside of their home state may require self-quarantine and all employees returning from out of the country travel will be quarantined for the allotted time to assure safety of the team.
  • Meetings & Tradeshows: We are limiting or leveraging technology to host meetings but will not be attending any events for at least four weeks.
