Attempting to load FTD2XXX.dll Error

1. To fix the “attempting to load FTD2XXX.dll error”, download the new FTDI drivers here. Click on the link highlighted in the image below.

2. Extract the contents
3. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to where ADMS is installed. This can be found by opening the Task Manager while ADMS is open. Right click on ADMS and select “Open file location”

4. Move the extracted contents of the new driver into the ADMS folder, replacing the old FTD2XX_NET.dll
